How the Speaker Cleaner Sound Works

What the sound does

A phone speaker makes sound by moving a small diaphragm. Repeated movement may help shift a droplet or loose particle near the opening. Speaker chambers, grilles, waterproofing, and volume limits differ, so results vary.

Before you start

• Remove the phone from water and wipe the exterior.
• Disconnect charging cables if safe.
• Place the device on a stable surface with the speaker clear.
• Never insert pins, paper, or cotton swabs into the grille.
